My small web adventures

My motivation for looking for the small web comes from being tired of platforms and the way they collect, organize and publish user content.

The platforms themselves are rigit and the form of the content is limited: on YouTube you can only publish videos, on Twitter - 140/280+ characters, on Instagram - photos/videos, etc. I understand you can't create satisfy everyone with a universal but I'm looking for something that I can make my own, just like in real life rather than conform with the standard.

Platform's content organization is also annoying since ... Pltaform's content publication is problematic at best because ...

the sustainability angle Paying for it all - It feels too yucky to see an ad about something I've talked about with friends in real life or
